ILE’s annual Archive Sale takes place at the end of May, both online and in-store.
Archive products will become available online beginning May 27th, with additional items releasing in-store on May 30th.
Why do we do an archive sale?
We’re always making new things.
Our workshop is both production site and R&D studio. Making technical equipment that holds up against a wide range of activities requires lots of experimenting and refining. We design tons of items we love that don’t make it to production for one reason or another.
Once a year we curate a selection of these products to share with our community. It’s a way to demonstrate our design thinking while making space for new ideas.
What types of items are available?
Expect to find unique products created as prototypes, one-off experiments, or random ideas we just wanted to try.
Archive items also include limited colorways and even completely new fabrics for long-running product lines. Some items are collaborations with other brands and organizations. Each product has the same construction quality and lifetime warranty as our regular lineup.
Additionally, our archive sale allows us to sell unreleased deadstock products at a discount.

What else do I need to know?
Past archive sales sold quickly.
Email newsletter subscribers are notified a few hours before the general release on May 27th. If you are keen to access the full range of items, we highly encourage you to sign up below.
Some products will be exclusive to our in-store event on Saturday May 30th.
